The Broncos remain 2-point favorites to win Sunday's Super Bowl, a position they've held since the opening lines for the game were set last week.
According to Oddsshark.com, Denver is holding steady as the favorites, though a close game is still expected. The over/under is also unchanged at 47 points. One suspects that if the game reaches that 47-point mark, it's a good omen for the Broncos' chances, since the Seahawks are likely not interested in getting into a shootout against Peyton Manning.
The steady lines suggest a general confidence in the Broncos and Manning and their ability to score points on the Seahawks' tough defense. If you think Richard Sherman and the rest of Seattle defense can find a way to limit one of the most prolific offenses in NFL history, be brave and go for the under on the points spread. You might also consider the much-mentioned fact that no quarterback who has led the league in passing yards for a season has ever gone on to win the Super Bowl.
The forecast continues to improve for Sunday with the Weather Channel now predicting a high of 44 and a low of 27 with minimal winds. 44?! Break out the short sleeves and personal misting fans!
