More on the matchup: Indianapolis surprised the Chiefs when these sides met shortly before Christmas. The pass-heavy Colts flipped the script on the aggressive Kansas City defense to lean heavily on running back Donald Brown and de-emphasize the passing game. The switch worked, and Brown gained 110 total yards and two touchdowns in a 23-7 win. This playoff meeting will be defined by adjustment. It's unlikely the Colts will return to the well once again at running back, while a once-dominant Chiefs pass rush needs to find its footing to make inroads in the playoffs.
