The Saints pulled off a road upset last week, but if New Orleans is going to pull another upset this week, it will have to do so as an even bigger underdog. The Saints will travel to Seattle this week and the Seahawks were favored by 9.5 points in the opening line, according to OddsShark.com.
Seattle opened as a 6.5-point favorite in the previous meeting with the Saints, a Week 13 game the Seahawks won 34-7. While the Seahawks have won 15 of their last 16 games at home, they were just 5-3 against the spread at home this season. That could be some of the reason the betting line has shifted toward New Orleans since opening. Some oddsmakers have Seattle as an 8-point favorite.

Despite their win on the road last week in Philadelphia, the Saints have had major issues on the road. New Orleans went 3-5 on the road during the regular season and are 2-7 ATS on the road this season, including the win against the Eagles. New Orleans hasn't had much success in Seattle recently, going 1-4 in its last five games, both straight up and against the spread.
The total opened at 47.5 points and the under is the best bet if recent trends hold true. The under hit in seven of New Orleans' last eight games and in Seattle's last five games. The total has also gone under in four of the last six meetings between the Saints and Seahawks in Seattle.
