Ben Roethlisberger becomes 4th quarterback to get 100 wins in first 150 games

Roethlisberger joins Joe Montana, Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger just put himself in the company of some of the best NFL players of all time. With the Steelers' win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Roethlisberger notched his 100th win as a starting quarterback. Many quarterbacks have 100 wins, obviously, but only Roethlisberger and three others have ever won 100 or more games in their first 150 NFL starts.

Sunday was Roethlisberger's 150th start.

Roethlisberger joins Tom Brady of the New England Patriots, the Steelers' Terry Bradshaw and San Francisco 49ers great Joe Montana. Brady is still playing, and is considered one of the best player in the NFL. Bradshaw and Montana also own prestigious places in NFL lore.

So yes, that's pretty decent company to be in. Roethlisberger cut things close, beating the Houston Texans in Week 7 in his 149th start for his 99th win. Roethlisberger has been one of the most consistent quarterbacks in the league since being drafted in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He has thrown for 35,963 yards with 229 touchdowns and 125 interceptions over his career, with a completion percentage of 63.4.

Those numbers are all the more impressive because Roethlisberger is currently the 10th-most sacked quarterback in NFL history. He has been brought down 406 times over the course of his career.
