Washington is playing their first home game in almost a month, so you might think their fans would be happy to see them again. But Dan Synder's last place team has been embarrassed by the 1-8 Buccaneers in the first half. There's been an RGIII pick-six, bad penalties, and special teams mistakes.
It's around 40 degrees at FedExField, so the fans who did make the drive to Landover were probably not the happiest at the start. But the team's abominable first half coming off a bye week was enough to have the entire stadium echoing with boos. One particular sequence featured Washington going from 1st-and-goal on the 6-yard line and ending up with a missed 47-yard field goal.
Skins inside the 5. Penalty, sack, sack, missed 47 yard field goal. Dreadful.— Rich Eisen (@richeisen) November 16, 2014
