The Divisional round of the 2015 NFL playoffs is here, and the Carolina Panthers and Seattle Seahawks will kick off the NFC's side Saturday night. Carolina, the No. 4 seed, will be taking on the Seahawks, the top seed in the conference. Carolina is traveling for this game, after hosting a game in the Wild Card round, despite a losing record.
Carolina finished the regular season at 7-8-1, but hosted the Arizona Cardinals thanks to the fact it won the NFC South while the Cardinals only managed to secure a wild card spot. With the Detroit Lions eliminated, the Dallas Cowboys are the higher seeded team between them and the Panthers and are taking on the Green Bay Packers Sunday.
It should be a solid matchup, despite the disparity in record. They're pretty evenly matched offenses and while Carolina's defense has under-performed as a whole this season, it was among the best a season ago and played well in the first meeting between these two teams earlier in the regular season. Still, Seattle won that game, 13-9.
