A suffocating defensive effort pushed the Indianapolis Colts past the Denver Broncos and into the AFC Championship to face the New England Patriots. Now they'll be hoping that defense holds up better than their last game against New England.
The Patriots eviscerated the Colts in Indianapolis back in Week 11, piling up over 500 yards en route to a 42-20 laugher. Rookie running back Jonas Gray exploded for 201 rushing yards and four of the Pats' six touchdowns and Rob Gronkowski put up 71 yards and a score. Tom Brady was subdued by his standards -- 257 yards, two touchdowns and two picks -- but didn't need to do much with the ground game dominating.
After watching Indianapolis dominate Peyton Manning, it's hard to imagine them falling on their face in their trip to Foxborough. Vontae Davis and a swarming secondary limited the Hall of Fame quarterback to just 211 yards and a completion percentage of just 57.
