Johnny Manziel has used his legs really effectively today in the Browns' matchup with the Chiefs, racking up 97 yards rushing on 10 attempts, both on designed runs and Houdini-like scrambles. While escape artists like Manziel are a ton of fun to watch and can be very difficult to defend, the one issue you sometimes see with them is that in escaping pressure while running around, they can lose track of what's going on downfield.
Case in point:
As Manziel scrambled out of pressure from the left to the right, he must have seen an orange helmet out of the corner of his eye and he shoveled it off to him just as he was about to get hit by a couple Chiefs' pass rushers.
The only problem with that is that the orange he saw downfield was actually his right tackle, Mitchell Schwartz. Yeah, that's not legal.
Schwartz, realizing immediately that something was amiss, took a knee to avoid any sort of catastrophe downfield. It was still a pretty natural looking catch by the big man, though.
The Browns were flagged for illegal touching and were backed up 5 yards.
