Browns head coach says ‘circumstances are different’ for latest Johnny Manziel party video

The Browns quarterback is in trouble again, or maybe he isn't.

Another video of Johnny Manziel partying has surfaced, this one purportedly from Christmas week. This comes just about one month after Manziel was benched for partying during the Browns' bye week, being caught on video doing so and then lying to team management about it.

The video, which was posted on the website Busted Coverage, shows Manziel singing to Future's "March Madness" in a private home with a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey of Manziel's former Texas A&M teammate Mike Evans hanging on the wall. Manziel appears to be holding a Four Loko and is wearing a "Merry Manziel" Christmas sweater.

On Monday Browns head coach Mike Pettine was asked about the video.

"Any time there's something with our players that casts them potentially in a bad light, whether it's Johnny or any of our other guys, it's certainly a concern," Pettine told reporters, via ESPN. "I'm sure I'll see it and have a discussion with him about it."

Pettine, however, did add that he believed this latest video is different than the one that got Manziel into trouble in November.

"These circumstances are different from the incident that occurred before," Pettine said. "I'm just not going to go into a ton of detail with it until I get a little bit more information about it, but it's something that I'm sure privately we'll discuss if it needs to be discussed."

Manziel started for the Browns on Sunday. He completed 13 of his 32 passes for 136 yards and was picked off once. Cleveland fell in Kansas City, 17-13, but Manziel did run for 108 yards. He's 1-2 in the three games he's started since being demoted.

Pettine declined to elaborate on whether he planned on benching Manziel again.

"I don't have all the information on it, and I'm just not going to comment on it at this time," he said. "I don't have all the facts with it."

Manziel spent 10 weeks at a drug and alcohol treatment facility last January. In October he was pulled over by police after a domestic argument with his girlfriend. No arrest was made but Manziel did tell authorities that he and his girlfriend had been drinking earlier that day.
