This isn't the best highlight of the NFL season, but it might be the most confusing play of the NFL season:
Here's what happened:
Jonathan Stewart (No. 28, falling groundwards in the beginning of the clip) ran into a slew of Saints. When Stewart hit the ground without the ball visibly popping out, everybody assumed the play was over.
But slow-motion replay showed that New Orleans' Stephone Anthony was able to rip the ball from Stewart's grasp before he hit the ground.
No one knew what happened except for Stephone Anthony That's cause he's the guy w/the ball in the end zone #CARvsNO https://t.co/X2wbrfV7mN

Since he was sort of in the middle of a pile, no Panthers saw the strip, and nobody thought to chase Anthony, who sidestepped into the end zone uncontested.
With the score, New Orleans took a 14-0 lead on Carolina.
