Some form of actual football is just about here with the Minnesota Vikings and Pittsburgh Steelers set to play the NFL Hall of Fame Game on Sunday. Of course, this is actually closer to something that's not entirely unlike football as opposed to actual football, but it's the first we've had for months.
Minnesota and Pittsburgh have a healthy non-divisional rivalry, mostly built on the teams fielding some of the most dominant defenses in NFL history. Neither team is quite at that level at this point, but there's a lot to like about both rosters. Pittsburgh is trying to take a hyper-competitive AFC North division, while the Vikings are hoping quarterback Teddy Bridgewater continues developing and can make them a factor in a tough NFC North.
While the final score of preseason games is as meaningless as something gets in football, the coaches and players relish every opportunity to get out there and work. Teams have a lot of decisions to make between now and the regular season, and hundreds of players are fighting for roster spots across the league.
There should be plenty to pay attention to when things get underway on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on NBC under the Sunday Night Football banner. Below, we've got all the information you need to watch the game.
