You wanna know how putridly awful the Bears look right now? Seven of our eight SB Nation experts are picking Chicago to lose to the Raiders ... at Soldier Field.
Oakland is favored by three points on Sunday, the first time they've been a road favorite since September 2012 (and they lost that game in Miami by 22 points), per Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune. Before the Raiders' 27-20 win in Cleveland last week, they'd lost 11 straight road games. Oakland is definitely a much-improved football team with Derek Carr and Amari Cooper finding a rhythm on offense, but that point spread says a lot more about the state of affairs in Chicago, where the 0-3 Bears have been outscored a combined 105-46 and rank 28th in the league in total offense.
But that's not the only easy pick in Week 4. The fellas are unanimously picking Seattle at home against Detroit, San Diego at home against Cleveland, Green Bay on the road in San Francisco and Buffalo at home against a Giants team that finally got off the slide last week (OK, it was against Washington, which doesn't really count).
In fact, there's only one game this week in which at least six of our eight panelists aren't in agreement: Dallas at New Orleans. That has the fellas split right down the middle: four of them like the Tony Romo-less Cowboys and four like the potentially Drew Brees-less Saints.
Here are the complete picks (keep in mind these are straight up, not against the spread):
