Johnny Manziel won't be suiting up for the Browns on Sunday after sustaining a concussion, but a report out of Las Vegas raises questions about whether he'll be on the sideline. According to USA TODAY Sports, Manziel was seen at the Planet Hollywood Casino playing blackjack.
A waitress who served Manziel and his friends along with a casino patron confirm that Manziel was indeed at Planet Hollywood on Saturday night, with a pit boss exclaiming "We've got Johnny Manziel with us tonight," upon realizing the Browns quarterback was playing.
There is some confusion following an Instagram picture of Manziel showed him lying on the floor with his dog and tagged as being taken in "Avon, Ohio" however, after testing SB Nation has found that a location can be added to a photo after being posted, something the USA TODAY Sports report claims to have happened with Manziel's account.
The Browns would not confirm to Cleveland.com that Manziel was in Cleveland, but did say he was in the team's practice facility on Saturday morning. Initially the team denied the report.
Manziel is not required to be in Cleveland to attend the Browns' final regular season game after being ruled out, but given his history it's unlikely the team would be happy to have their quarterback seen in a Las Vegas bar and gambling hours before his team takes the field.
