Drew Brees has been as good as advertised in three games, but the New Orleans Saints ... well, you may want to get your money back if you were expecting big things. They have fallen to the Oakland Raiders, New York Giants and the rival Atlanta Falcons.
They have put up 30-plus points twice in two games, but they have also allowed 35 and 45 points in those games. Defensively, the Saints have been terrible, a theme under head coach Sean Payton. After an 0-3 start, can the Saints finally get in the win column in Week 4? They will have to face the San Diego Chargers, a team that has struggled themselves. The Chargers are 1-2 on the season, dropping games against the Indianapolis Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs. Their lone win is over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Over at CBS Sports, all eight of their experts think the Chargers will come out on top and that the Saints will remain winless. At ESPN, there are some who think the Saints will finally win one, though only three of the nine experts are going that route.
Here at SB Nation, things are trending more toward the former than the latter.
