Texans vs. Broncos 2016, NFL picks and predictions: Experts all-in on Denver

Nobody thinks the Texans can beat the Broncos. Nobody.

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos have to contend with the Oakland Raiders in the AFC West, and with shaky quarterback play, they can't afford any losses. That includes losing to the player who they thought was going to stabilize the quarterback position: Brock Osweiler, now of the Houston Texans.

Osweiler took over for an injured Peyton Manning last season and helped the Broncos reach the Super Bowl. His play was average at best, but it was enough to earn him a huge free agent contract from the Texans. Now he's toiling in the AFC South while Trevor Siemian starts for the Broncos.

Siemian won the starting job in the offseason, beating out rookie first-round pick Paxton Lynch and Mark Sanchez. Siemian missed Week 5 due to injury and struggled upon returning in a loss to San Diego last week, but has shown flashes when healthy. Statistically, he's outperformed Osweiler, with seven touchdowns against three interceptions. Osweiler has eight touchdowns and eight interceptions on the season.

The Broncos seem pretty excited at the prospect of facing -- and beating -- Osweiler. But will they?

According to the experts: yes. Over at CBS Sports, all eight of their experts are picking Denver to win. It's the same situation at ESPN, where all nine of their analysts think Denver will win as well.
