Giants vs. Vikings 2016, NFL picks and predictions: Experts favor Minnesota on 'Monday Night Football'

Experts think the Vikings will start the season at 4-0 despite no Teddy Bridgewater and no Adrian Peterson.

Despite losing both Teddy Bridgewater, the franchise's starting quarterback, and Adrian Peterson, their starting running back, the Minnesota Vikings are undefeated. They're going into a Week 4 Monday Night Football game against the New York Giants sporting a 3-0 record and are favored to win again.

Sam Bradford is starting at quarterback with Jerick McKinnon getting the nod at running back. The pair haven't been great by any stretch of the imagination, but Minnesota's defense has stepped up in a big way and that will again be the key to winning on Monday.

Eli Manning and the Giants are playing in an NFC East division that appears to be trending toward both the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles thanks to rookie quarterbacks Dak Prescott and Carson Wentz. The Giants have found the most recent success of these franchises, but is their window closing as young quarterbacks take the division over?

They could make a big statement by beating the Vikings on Monday. But can they do it?

Over at CBS Sports, six of their eight experts think the Vikings will win, leaving just two picking the Giants. It's a similar spread over at ESPN, where seven of their nine experts think Minnesota will take the win, also leaving two picking New York.

Here at SB Nation, it's more of the same.
