The Raiders and Buccaneers were headed for the third tie of the season and second of the day. With under two minutes remaining in overtime, however, Raiders head coach Jack Del Rio eschewed conventional thinking and went for it on fourth down. The Raiders were rewarded with a walkoff touchdown win on a pass from Derek Carr to Seth Roberts.
If Del Rio had decided to punt, we might have been making fun of yet another boring tie. Instead, Del Rio made a gamble and was justly rewarded with a 30-24 win.
