The Packers’ didn’t have much of a chance to beat the Ravens as they stared down a fourth-and-11 situation with just under four minutes to play. Terrell Suggs ensured they had none once he was finished with them.
Suggs’ dragged down Brett Hundley to end Green Bay’s comeback chance, then unveiled an AMAZING coordinated sack dance that only a man with 122 career sacks could pull off.
Suggs’ sack was his second of the day and endemic of the Packers’ problems keeping quarterback Hundley upright. While Green Bay’s blocking wasn’t bad, the former backup too often struggled to identify and escape pressure, instead holding on to the ball just long enough to get driven into the turf for a big loss.
What this means for the Ravens: Baltimore’s defense Sunday looked like the Ravens of days passed as the club shut out a formerly dangerous Packers team. The team sacked Hundley six times Sunday, improving to 5-5 as a result. That puts Baltimore on the periphery of the playoff race — and with a ferocious defense firing on all cylinders, it’s a team no one would want to face.
