When Tom Brady took the field for warmups before Sunday’s AFC title game against the Jaguars, all eyes were on the MVP candidate and the stitched-up thumb that threatens to derail his chance for a third Super Bowl appearance in four years.
That focus stretched to Jaguars All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who had some words for the future Hall of Famer as he jogged down the sideline past a stretching Jacksonville defense.

Ramsey, who had guaranteed victory over the Pats earlier in the week, took advantage of his first opportunity to exchange words with the quarterback he’ll stare down in the AFC Championship. While Brady appeared to ignore Ramsey on the first half of his warmup jog, he turned to address his opponent after hyping up the home crowd.

Audio didn’t pick up the exchange between the rivals, but the topic at hand may have been Brady’s injured thumb, which was covered in tape.

He’ll have to prove he’s back to 100 percent to get the better of one of the league’s best defenses. Ramsey and fellow Pro Bowler A.J. Bouye lead a talented secondary that could be the difference between another Brady Super Bowl and the Jags’ first trip to the big game.
