Tim McGraw played the Super Bowl LIII kickoff show in Atlanta on Sunday in a raucous performance with one big surprise.
The concert itself took place at the NFL tailgate party in downtown Atlanta, but fans in the stadium were given the opportunity to watch live, with video of the show being broadcast into the stadium on the giant circular video boards that are a hallmark of Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

McGraw played his new hit single “Thought About You,” which the NFL announced ahead of time — but nobody expected his encore. McGraw brought the place down when he performed his hit “I like it, I love it” with Kane Brown who made a shock appearance.

The concert was received exceptionally well, and is not yet available to be watched online. Judging from how fans are reacting it’s going to set up a tough act to follow for Maroon 5 at the Super Bowl halftime show!
