Kari Lehtonen makes another great save

For the second night in a row, Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen made highlight-reel save.

Facing an odd-man rush by the Red Wings Tuesday, Stars goaltender Kari Lehtonen stood tall for the second straight night.

Fellow Finlander Valtteri Filppula took a pass through the slot from Pavel Datsyuk and appeared in perfect position to give the Wings a second-period lead. Twisting backward, Lehtonen somehow got his stick between the puck and the goal line to keep the game scoreless.

Just Monday Lehtonen made another beautiful stop, this one a backhanded glove save against the Blue Jackets just before the puck reached the goal line.

Either could be early favorites for save of the year. Monday's stop did appear to have better aesthetics, but Tuesday's was definitely high up on the scale of difficulty.

Unfortunately for Lehtonen, his night had few highlights. His team lost 4-1 to Detroit, while he made just 21 saves on 25 shots before giving way to Richard Bachman in the game's final five minutes.

The Stars fell 2-1 to Columbus on Monday.
