Jesse Winchester elbows Chris Kelly

The NHL is sure to take a look at this elbow delivered by Jesse Winchester of the Florida Panthers.

It's been a few days since we had a controversial hit to talk about, and Florida Panthers forward Jesse Winchester decided that we needed another one early in the first period of Thursday's game in Boston.

That's when he delivered this hit to Bruins forward Chris Kelly in the corner.

That's pretty bad. It not only looks like a hit to the head, but it also appears that Winchester leaves his feet to finish it.

Kelly returned to the game not long after the hit while no penalty was called on the play. Winchester did, however, earned a five-minute fighting major after Gregory Campbell stepped in and challenged him after the hit.
