World Junior hockey 2014: Canada unveils preliminary roster

Hockey Canada announced their selection camp roster for the 2014 World Junior Championship.

Hockey Canada has announced the 25-man selection camp roster for the 2014 World Junior Championship on Monday afternoon.

The selection camp consists of two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 15 forwards. That group will need to be trimmed by three players to an active roster of 22 by Dec. 25. The press release from Hockey Canada states that NHL players with junior eligibility might still be available for the final roster, but that will be determined at a later date.
