Steven Oleksy decided to move the net

Steven Oleksy wanted to make sure nobody put the puck in his net. So he moved it.

Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Following a scramble in front of his net that featured Capitals goalie Philipp Grubauer knocking the puck out of the crease to prevent a goal, defenseman Steven Oleksy decided to make sure nobody would get another chance to score on that shift by casually pushing the net out of position.

Normally that's a penalty for delay of game if somebody in stripes sees it. It's a great play if nobody sees it. On this night it was a great play.
