Corey Perry scores from his knees

Corey Perry added to the New York Islanders recent struggles with this highlight reel goal from his knees.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

With the way things have been going for the New York Islanders over the past month they're playing the role of the Washington Generals and everybody else in the league are the Harlem Globetrotters.

On Monday night in Anaheim things really started to unravel for the Islanders as they allowed three goals, including a shorthanded Ducks goal that came on a 3-on-1 rush. Not long after that happened Corey Perry scored one of the best goals of the young NHL season when he did this from his knees.
