With the way things have been going for the New York Islanders over the past month they're playing the role of the Washington Generals and everybody else in the league are the Harlem Globetrotters.
On Monday night in Anaheim things really started to unravel for the Islanders as they allowed three goals, including a shorthanded Ducks goal that came on a 3-on-1 rush. Not long after that happened Corey Perry scored one of the best goals of the young NHL season when he did this from his knees.
Entering Monday the Islanders had lost nine in a row and 14 of their past 16.
