NHL schedule and starting goalies for Friday: Canucks, Blackhawks rivalry headlines

Friday's NHL schedule features a few interesting rivalry battles.

Jonathan Daniel

There are seven games on tap in the NHL on Friday night, with the rematch between the Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues headlining the schedule as the NHL Network's nationally televised game of the night.

It is one of three division match-ups that will be occurring on Friday, with the Winnipeg Jets traveling to Tampa Bay to face the Lightning and the Dallas Stars hosting the Phoenix Coyotes as the others.

Another game of note is the one occurring in Vancouver between the Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks. With both teams expressing mutual disdain for one another and the Canucks still harboring ill-will towards Duncan Keith for his hit on Daniel Sedin, it's likely that sparks will be flying.
