That furry little ape you saw scurrying out into the TD Garden parking lot just now was actually the same monkey that just slid off of Milan Lucic's back.
Lucic snapped a well-publicized 15-game goalless streak on Monday evening with his score in the second period against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Rich Peverley retrieved the puck after a battle along the boards and immediately dropped it off to a streaking Lucic. The big Bruins forward raced down the middle of the ice past Cody Franson and beat James Reimer for the goal. That's got to be a relief for Bruins fans, who have watched their well-paid winger struggle mightily this season to find the back of the net.
