Canadiens vs. Flyers: Simmonds vs. Moen, Rinaldo vs. Prust

Two fights broke out with only two seconds of game time separating them.

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

A few minutes into the second period of the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Philadelphia Flyers, fans were treated to a pair of staged fights on consecutive faceoffs. Enjoy them both in all their glory here:

Wayne Simmonds looked to get the better of the first bout against Travis Moen, although it really turned into more of a swing dance contest than an actual fight. In round two, Brandon Prust held the smaller Zac Rinaldo off long enough to get his grip and balance set, then proceeded to deliver a few powerful blows before it was all said and done.

Prior to these fights, the game had already been marked by physical play, after P.K. Subban and Brayden Schenn nearly came to blows at the end of the first period.
