Kyle Okposo was drafted with the hope of being a power forward, but to date he hasn't really done the whole "fight people" part of that job description.
Friday in Game 2 of the New York Islanders' playoff series with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he decided to try it out against Matt Niskanen:
It was Okposo's first NHL fight. Safe to say Niskanen got the worst of it:
The Islanders scored to make it 3-2 right after the fight, and later tied it on Matt Martin's goal. For a game that looked like it was picking up right where the Penguins' Game 1 blowout left off, this has become a good, closely fought game.
The teams were tied at 3-3 going into the third period.
