The Chicago Blackhawks are favored to repeat as Stanley Cup champion, according to the oddsmakers at Bovada.
With the 2013-14 season set to begin on Tuesday night, Bovada released their final preseason odds on Monday morning. Chicago is given a 6/1 margin to become the first team since the Detroit Red Wings to win consecutive championships in the NHL. The Pittsburgh Penguins have the second best odds (15/2), followed by the Boston Bruins (12/1), Los Angeles Kings (12/1) and St. Louis Blues (12/1).
St. Louis was projected to win the Stanley Cup this season by EA Sports' virtual simulation of the 2013-14 season.

* Boston (11/5) is given the best odds to win the Atlantic followed by Detroit (7/2), Ottawa (9/2), Toronto (9/2), Montreal (11/2), Tampa Bay (9/1), Buffalo (30/1) and Florida (50/1).
* Pittsburgh (5/6) is given the best odds to win the Metropolitan followed by the Rangers (6/1), Philadelphia (7/1), Washington (15/2), the Islanders (17/2), Carolina (16/1), Columbus (16/1) and New Jersey (16/1).
* Chicago (5/8) is given the best odds to win the Central followed by St. Louis (13/4), Minnesota (6/1), Dallas (14/1), Colorado (18/1), Nashville (18/1) and Winnipeg (18/1).
* Los Angeles (8/5) is given the best odds to win the Pacific followed by Vancouver (3/1), San Jose (9/2), Anaheim (11/2), Edmonton (11/2), Phoenix (16/1) and Calgary (30/1).
Chicago is given 5/2 odds to win the Western Conference and Pittsburgh is given 10/3 odds to win the East.
