Things were not going well for the Washington Capitals midway through the third period on Tuesday night.
Alex Ovechkin was out of the lineup, the team was down 2-0 to the Ottawa Senators, and Mikhail Grabovski had enough of that nonsense. So he tried to claw out Zack Smith's eyes.
Grabovski and Smith earned matching minors for roughing, while Grabovski was given an additional 10-minute misconduct (presumably for trying to remove Smith's eye ball from his face).
He didn't react kindly to that news as he launched his helmet down the runway to the locker room.
