The Czech Republic released their roster for the Men's ice hockey tournament at the 2014 Sochi Olympics on Tuesday afternoon. The roster is composed of several NHL players including Jaromir Jagr, Patrik Elias, Tomas Plekanec, Jakub Voracek and David Krejci.
Ondrej Pavelec is the only current NHL goaltender named to the roster, as he will be joined by Jakub Kovar and Alexander Salak. Interestingly enough, 42-year-old forward Petr Nedved was named to the team. Nedved has not played in the NHL since 2006-07, but has continued playing professionally in the Czech Extraliga.
