Sabres vs. Hurricanes: Game postponed due to weather conditions

The Buffalo Sabres and Carolina Hurricanes have postponed their game on Tuesday night due to adverse weather conditions.

The Buffalo Sabres have postponed Tuesday night's game against the Carolina Hurricanes, according to an announcement from the team.

The game has been postponed due to weather conditions and a make-up date has yet to be announced: projects that Buffalo will experience snow showers all day with potential for four-eight inches of accumulated snow fall. In addition, the service warns that intense winds might cause power outages throughout the area. At the very least, these conditions were intense enough that the NHL opted to postpone the contest.

This marks the first time since December of 2000 that the Sabres have been forced to move a home game.
