Entering play on Friday, the Minnesota Wild were the only team in the NHL that had yet to allow a goal this season after shutting out the Colorado Avalanche in their first two games of the season.
That shutout streak lasted until the 4:02 mark of the third period on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks when Andrew Cogliano scored a shorthanded goal to tie the game at one.
In total, Minnesota's shutout streak to start the season, which was orchestrated entirely with Darcy Kuemper in goal, lasted more than 164 minutes and included 113 consecutive stopped shots.
