St. Louis Blues forward Vladimir Tarasenko is brilliantly talented and has a wicked shot. What we didn't know is he could pull out a shootout-like move during the flow of a regular game.
What you see there is Tarasenko wheeling through the battered Rangers defense, including rookie and recent call-up Dylan McIlrath, and their not-as battered forward unit to cruise in on goalie Cam Talbot and pull out the old Peter Forsberg move to tie the game 1-1 in the second period.
The goal was Tarasenko's team-leading seventh of the season. Let's put that one on a stamp in Missouri.
