If anyone thought the Anaheim Ducks and San Jose Sharks would end 2014 on a happy note, you've been sorely disappointed. The final matchup of the year between the two division rivals as resulted in fights, scrums and one notable instance of stick-tossing.
A big line scrum erupted in the dying seconds of the third when Tommy Wingels hit Corey Perry from behind. Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf then displayed his displeasure on his way to the locker oom.
Sure, it was an unsportmanlike thing to do. But the throw itself was worse. If you're going to throw your stick, commit to it! You're never going to get much air under it without using your back foot.
Ryan Getzlaf would make a terrible quarterback.
