The no-look backhand goal is a rare thing indeed, but Anaheim Ducks forward Nick Bonino accomplished the feat on Saturday.
Just a few minutes after Dustin Brown put the Kings up 1-0, Bonino knotted the score with one of the best backhand goals of the season.
Which sounds great, but we left out the most important detail: Bonino was on his knees and falling away from the net.
You could probably try that shot hundreds of times and not make it once. Well done, Mr. Bonino. Remind us to never challenge you to a game of hockey H-O-R-S-E.
