Henrik Lundqvist sprays water bottle in Sidney Crosby's face

Hockey's water bottle problem continues.

The most surprising development of the 2014 NHL Playoffs is the revelation that hockey players can't handle water bottles anymore.

Boston Bruins winger Shawn Thornton opened our eyes on Saturday night when he sprayed Montreal Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban twice in the same game and laughed about it.

Now New York Rangers goalie Henrik Lundqvist is getting in on the fun too. When the final whistle blew in the second period of Game 6 between Pittsburgh and New York, Sidney Crosby found himself at the bottom of a scrum that he created.

Naturally, King Henrik took advantage.

That's not your everyday water spray, either. Lundqvist basically emptied his bottle on Crosby's face. This is getting out of hand, guys. Do we have to take away your water bottle and put you in timeout?

THIS ISN'T FUNNY, SHAWN. Water is a precious resource.

Considering Thornton was fined today for his antics, you have to expect Lundqvist will face sanctions for his part in the NHL's #Watergate scandal.
