Dan Girardi is something of a whipping boy for New York Rangers fans. On a loaded blue line he's clearly the weakest link, and they like to point this out often.
He didn't help his cause on Friday in Colorado. The Avalanche were on a power play and Girardi was defending along the boards when Avs center Nathan MacKinnon performed the hockey equivalent of a juke move on him.

If you look closely you can spot the giant divot left by Girardi's skate when MacKinnon spun him like a Beyblade. (If you don't know what a Beyblade is then A) google it and B) what were you even doing in 2000?)
