Toronto's goaltending carousel keeps on spinning as Leafs lose Garret Sparks to injury

For once, bad netminding isn't costing goaltenders their jobs in Toronto.

The Maple Leafs have hit a bit of bad luck with goaltender injuries this season. First, James Reimer took a groin injury and is taking his time recovering. Now, Toronto is down another netminder as fan favorite Garret Sparks left their Thursday night game against the Sharks 11 minutes in with a lower-body injury.

There's no word on his return to the game or the severity of the injury, but all signs point to discomfort in his leg after San Jose's second goal at 11:32 of the first period.

Backup Jonathan Bernier is manning the crease for the Maple Leafs in the meantime.
