Kevin Hayes has been a rookie revelation for the New York Rangers this season, with 13 goals and 29 points already. Most of his goals have been of the "Holy cow" variety, and his score on Tuesday was no different.
Hayes found himself breaking away in the second period on Long Island, with his back heavily draped by a New York Islanders defenseman. In a few quick moves, Hayes shrugged him off, hit the brakes, deked and scored. What a beauty.
And then he got shoved into the crossbar, but it was totally worth it.
