The general rule in hockey is that goals scored from behind the goal line are way more embarrassing than goals scored in front of it. So, in a way, Jonathan Toews embarrassed the New York Islanders on Tuesday.
Just a few minutes into the first period, the Chicago Blackhawks managed to get the puck behind the Isles' net and into the corner. Toews then just chucked the puck towards the net off his backhand, and it somehow got past goalie Michal Neuvirth for a goal.
