The Ottawa Senators' unlikely playoff push has made for a nice story, but their outlook has deteriorated quite a bit in recent days. According to SportsClubStats.com, they have a 25.2 percent chance of making it beyond 82 games heading into Tuesday's action. This is a significant change from the roughly 50/50 odds they enjoyed a short time ago.
Needless to say, its matchup in Detroit on Tuesday is a big one for Ottawa, who has lost two of three games against the Red Wings in 2014-15.
In Canada, the Winnipeg Jets will attempt to improve their postseason prospects when they host the Vancouver Canucks. Winnipeg is coming off a 4-3 loss to Chicago on Sunday, while Vancouver will partake in its second game in two nights after beating the Blues in St. Louis on Monday, 4-1. A total of 14 teams will be in action on Tuesday with seven games filling out the schedule.
Here is a complete list of Tuesday's schedule. All times are ET.
