At this point, any outcome is possible in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final on Friday night when the Tampa Bay Lightning travel to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Rangers for a chance to play for the Stanley Cup.
Both teams have won on the road in the back-and-forth series, so it will be difficult to predict a result in what's sure to be an eventful Game 7. The outcome, however, could rest heavily on the shoulders of Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist. The veteran netminder has won the last six Game 7s of his career. Coupled with the home-ice advantage, the Rangers appear to have the edge.
On the other side of the ice is Ben Bishop, who has been strong in net during clutch moments, and there's none bigger than the one Friday night. If there are questions, they exist because of the 19 goals he's given up in this series, including 15 on three games at home.
But Tampa Bay has proven its resiliency. It's won two of three games at the famous New York City venue and will test Lundqvist in a series that could end in dramatic fashion.
"It comes down to one game," said Tampa Bay forward Ryan Callahan via the Associated Press. "It's for the conference finals, it doesn't get much more exciting than this. It's an opportunity for us to go in there and advance to the finals. We're excited about it and we're excited about the chances."
