Team USA skated into the locker room with a 1-0 lead in the World Junior Championship semifinal on Monday, thanks to some unreal goaltending from Alex Nedeljkovic.
Nedeljkovic put on a clinic in the first period, stopping all eight shots by Russia. But two of them were definitely highlight-reel stops.
The first came late in the period. Russia found a rebound and a wide open net, but Nedeljkovic went down, flashed up his leg and somehow kept it out.

He wasn't done! Take a look at what he did during a 5-on-3 penalty kill for the U.S.:
The Carolina Hurricanes might have a stud goalie prospect on their hands. If the U.S. wins they'll play Finland in the gold medal game.
