It's that time of the year where NHL teams bring their moms or dads along on road trips with them. It's a great tradition, made even better when their kids score.
Just ask Matt Bartkowski's mom, Beth. The Vancouver Canucks defenseman scored his first goal in over three months with his mom in attendance, and the Canucks' broadcast sent a reporter up to the suite to get her reaction. Thank goodness they did, because it was fantastic.
If that doesn't warm your heart, I don't know what to tell you. Go sit in the corner and scowl at the wall or something.
