Whatever the NHL record was for fastest time between two penalties for one player, it's all but certain Mark Streit obliterated it on Thursday.
The Philadelphia Flyers' alternate captain found himself in the penalty box midway through the first period against the Buffalo Sabres. His team was able to kill it off, but as the penalty box door opened, Sabres captain Brian Gionta just happened to be skating by with the puck.
Streit tried to play the puck, and ended up with another penalty BEFORE HE EVEN LEFT THE PENALTY BOX.
That's one way to try and break a record while making your teammates hate you.
