Cory Schneider saves sure-fire goal with miraculous stick save

The Devils netminder's excellent season continues.

New Jersey Devils netminder Cory Schneider already had a pretty tall task facing him on Tuesday: stop a pretty good New York Rangers team from putting even more distance between themselves and his team in the playoff race.

But then "make an impossible save" was added to his to-do list.

The Devils had a Rangers breakaway decently covered when a cross-ice pass was deflected straight to a Rangers stick with Schneider way out of position. And yet, Schneider had no problem.

That's why the Devils' netminder is a good candidate for the Vezina Trophy this year.
