Like most of Montreal, goaltender Mike Condon is not having a good year.
Obviously not all of the Canadiens' failings fall on his shoulders, but Condon has not thrived in the starter's position in the wake of the injury to Carey Price, to say the least.
That being said, he's an NHL goaltender for a reason and he showed it here in a save of the year candidate as he robbed Capitals forward Mike Richards with an elbow.

Not only was Condon twisted around, he had the presence of mind to stick out his stick hand behind his body and bat the puck away blindly with his blocker on what looked to have been a sure goal from Richards.
As such, the Capitals remain down to the Canadiens by a score of 4-1 heading into the third period.
