All the talk in NHL circles on Tuesday centered around two players: Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel.
The two NHL rookie phenoms were the heart of a major decision at the 2015 NHL draft: who do you take first overall? Both are generational talents. The Edmonton Oilers took McDavid first overall, and Eichel went to the Buffalo Sabres one pick later.
The two finally met on the ice for the first time on Tuesday. And Connor McDavid immediately made his mark 22 seconds in.
